Has anybody used northern brewer for dry hopping? I know that is what anchor brewing uses for bittering, aroma and dry hopping of anchor steam, but I haven't heard of too many other examples. Of course this is due to it's "rough", "woody" flavor and high bittering capabilities.

I just racked a honey IPA bittered with 1 oz columbus at 60 minutes, 1 oz cascade for flavor at 30 minutes and another 1 oz cascade at 10 minutes, to secondary today and I had an ounce of northern brewer laying around.

I couldn't help myself....I had too toss them in.

Northern Brewer has a very different aroma profile from the 3Cs, so you'll get a more complex beer.
