Not only did my work let me bring in Organic 2-row and Organic Munich, not only did they OK the purchase of a $180 malt mill, they let me throw an organic homebrew competition. Check this out: http://www.boisecoop.com/ , scroll down to the "Treasure Valley Organic Homebrew Challenge" link. It is limited to residents of the Treasure Valley, but if any of you are out there come take part.

The rules for the homebrew competition say entrants must enter 8 22oz bottles. Why so much? That seems a little extreme.

So you can now buy milled organic grain at the Co-op? That's great. Too bad I don't live there anymore. I remember going there almost every day for lunch in high school. And it's not a trip back home without stopping in to pick out a couple bottles that are nowhere to be found in Montana.

Do you know my sister Chrystal? I'm pretty sure she still works there.
