Brain Fart

Hey all.

So I was at the LHBS picking up my things, and forgot to
crack? my specialty grains.

They are closed on Saturdays, and I have my heart set on brewing tonight.

I've been racking my brain trying to come up with a solution, and I was thinking about throwing the grain (only 1.5 lb) onto some wax paper, putting a layer of wax paper over it, and taking a rolling pin to it.

On a scale from 1 to 10, how much will this method suck?

The rolling pin method will work for specialty grains. Just be careful the grain doesn't shoot out from underneath the paper all over the floor.

A big zip-lock baggie works well for holding the grain while you bash it too...

oh yeah... and you gotta pay the membership dues to get your avatar.... it's like $25.00 a year I think..
