So I found the Pumpkin puree, but the recipe also calls for 2 tbsp of Mulling Spices that I can't find anywhere!! What can I use in it's place for a small 2.5 gal batch ?
Find a pumpkin pie spice blend, tHat should get you pretty close. Start with maybe 2tsp and see how the flavor is after a week or two, add more as needed but go slow. You can add spice flavor but you can't take it away.
^ Thanks, but I ended up driving to the county next door today and was able to get the Mullen spices there, unreal that no place in my town carried it.....I only needed a few Tbsp in a muslin bag for a 2.5 gallon batch I'm doing, and now I have an entire container. I guess I'll just freeze it.........
