What can I use as a filter on my racking cane. I have full pieces of fruit in my primary and would rather not plug the cane with little pieces of fruit

You can sanitize some cheese cloth or a paint strainer bag and tie it to your racking cane.

Which will still likely clog it some but you won't end up with tiny fruit debris that can pass through the racking cane.
