Ok, I got my kegs in, and my co2 canister. I just don’t have any lines yet or a regulator. I was wondering if it were ok to go ahead and transfer my lager from the carboy in the fridge to a cooled Corny? Even though it won’t be pressurized till after Christmas? It will go back in the fridge at the same temp...

thanks

Yes you can. It will be just a prolonged secondary in a nice metal container. More clearing and conditioning and will be great tasting once you can carbonate it.:ban:

Yep! I use cornies almost exclusively for clearing. In fact, in most cases the ale goes from fermenter to cornie in the aging chest to kegger. I'm planning on putting my Schwarzbier into a cornie for lagering in the back of the kegger. (I think I can squeeze it in).
