Crushed Grains Still Okay?

I have 15 lbs of crushed grains (2-row and Crystal 120L) that have been sitting pretty much air tight for about 6 weeks now, would they still be okay to use? I opened up the bag just now, smelled them, tasted them, and they seem okay. Would I be able to tell if the grains are bad? They seem okay to me...
 
If they've been stored airtight, and they don't taste stale, they should be fine!

If they taste bad (rancid) or stale, that's when they're not good to use.
