My wife wants me to make some hard cider. So I look around a bit and read up on it and think..

Let me get this straight... I don't have to mash, I don't have to boil, I don't have to prime before I bottle...

This could be a dream come true....

I'm thinking my next batch may be a down and dirty sweet hard cider. Mmmmmm. Just in time for the Holidays.

You normally need to prime prior to bottling, just like with beer.
But yeah, pretty simple.

And the nice thing is, if you add sugar to boost the ABV, it gives it a cidery flavor! I make a couple batches of cider a year, makes you feel like you're still brewing but dead simple.

I've just started some from extract. Dead easy, Extract, sugar, yeast, wait, bottle, wait, drink.

Not expecting a show winner but I'll enjoy drinking it.
