Does anyone know of any commercial/craft breweries that have operations in the D.C. area? Graduating college in the spring, and looking for jobs. Would like to do some marketing/advertising for a brewery, or even start at the bottom and work my way up to a brewmaster. :mug:

Here are the ones that do distribution that I know of off the top of my head that are headquarted around here:

Capital City Brewing in the city.
Old Dominion in No. Va.
Hook and Ladder is a contract brewery in Silver Spring.
Fordham's in Annapolis.
Clipper City in Baltimore.
Wild Goose in Frederick.
I know there's another contract brewer in Bethesda, but don't remember the name.

There are also the following brew pubs thta brew on premise:

Ellicott Mills in Ellicott City
Some Gorden Biersch's and Rock Bottom's are around here.
Dogfish Head in Gaithersburg (I'm not sure if they brew on premise).

Growlers in Germantown
Duclaw at Arundel Mills Mall
Rocky Run Tap and Grill in Columbia and Baltimore
Gordon Biersch in Rockville
Rock Bottom in Bethesda
Brewers Art in Baltimore

I think Wild Goose is hiring for a position (non-brewing I think) and I saw an ad someplace for QC at a MD brewery. Check Probrewer.com in the forum for other opportunities.
