Is 50 bucks a fair price for a used 15gallon keg (in good condition)? I just want a second one to convert into an HLT... found a guy selling one (not yet converted) but he wants 50 for it.

Yes, it is. I also paid 40 twice (the deposit price at a liquor outlet).
