Is it better to leave a brew in the secondary rather than bottle condition it? I only have one carboy so I needed room for my next batch so I bottled after only 2 weeks. I don't think it was a problem, but it hadn't fully cleared out. (I dry hopped a brown ale, just to see what would happen, .5 oz of Fuggles) Anyway, just wondering for general principles. I guess I'm probably in the market for another carboy (or two, or three....)

If secondary conditioning less "gunk" will be put in the bottle.

In theory the beer should be more identical between bottles if there is less gunk in the barrel going into the bottles so that should give you more control over the beer.

As for there being a difference in taste logically speaking there should be none.

Sounds like you just want somebody to tell you to buy more HB equipment!
GO FOR IT :)
