This is a recipe I just came up with. The LME is hopped and its in EBU's which I haven't figured out how to convert over to IBU's yet (45-55 EBU's). SO the IBU's will end up being higher. (current ratio 0.636 IBU/SG)

I'll be using DeathBrewer's method of PM for this. https://www.homebrewtalk.com/showthread.php?t=75231 with a 10gal brew pot and 5 gal pot for mash.

Is this too much grain for a PM?

The hop AA is unknown till closer to time of purchase when I get with the shop but this is approx the percentage of what I'm looking for on it. Roughly 75% bitterness and 25% flavor.

I already have the Extracts.

You are PM 11# of grain, man you could just go all grain at this point. Spend a few bucks and upgrade. I can only pm about 5# and that is why I PM. 11# is enough to do alot of beers.

Well it can be dropped down but it is a high grav beer. The mash is a slightly different style with tea bagging the grains in water for sparging which results in lower efficency. 4 gal mash water and approx 2.5 gal sparge water which give around 6.5 gallons to boil. Grains approx 60% of sugars.

I'm in debt out of my arse n trying to only buy the nessesary items. This won't be brewer till October probably.

I might end up turning this into an AG recipe as I am looking into buying a 70qt cooler for a MLT. Anyone have any thoughts on this?
