What formula does everyone use to calculate IBU. Is there a specific one I should be using as a HB , is there a standard?

As a relatively new brewer, I agree on Tinseth. I've had hoppy recipes turn out not so hoppy and discovered IBUs were calculated with Rager. Rager and Tinseth are quite different, at least in Brewpal.
Tinseth seems more in line with the results I get.
