Now that the last two stragglers are here I thought it was time to update my garden progress.

Hard to see. White Radish in center. At top left Okra, Top Right Cucumber. Bottom Row Carrots.

This year my hops have suffered being beaten, eaten, clipped, and are currently slightly bogged. We had a wet spell and I forgot to turn off the sprinkler. I have been letting the soil dry out now for the last few days. Temps are steady in the 80's to 90's so it should'nt be long before they spring back into health.

Have yet to catch the culprit having itself a salad buffet (Newport took the brunt) but, the Japanese Beetles have been out with a vengence. Hopefully, the insecticidal soap will keep them at bay. I have also noticed that Ladybugs have been frequenting. I usually find one or two nestled under a leaf. Haven't seen any Aphids or Mites so, I doubt they will hang out for long. Also, prior to installing the chicken wire, I had seen evidence of Rabbits yet, I have no proof they were eating the leaves.

Shown in glimpses, I also have about 75 bulbs of Hardneck Garlic growing as companions. They are just about ready for harvest.

And the best thing I have grown to date;
