IPA is my favorite style. Stout is my second favorite style. Definitely starting to spread out in recent months, but those are still my bases! My next four are going to be a nut brown, a mild, another IPA, and an oatmeal stout. :rockin:

I've only been able to brew twice since getting to Bolivia. A Brown and an Imperial CDA (10.5% of pure evil that's getting tapped at the Adventure Brew Hostel for New Years Eve). Have an Alt lagering for when I get back to Oregon in February. For the other 22 brews, I'd have to check my notes which are back in Oregon.

You do realize that you either brewed an IPA or Stout 14 of those 25 times? How about some variety?;)

Nothing wrong with that, I've brewed about 30 batches and at least 20 of them have been pale ales and IPAs. Brewed wheat beers 4 times and done a few stouts and a smoked chocolate porter.

Thinking you might like IPA's/IIPA's... :D

Wasn't always the case!! I abhorred them at one time. After awhile of sampling many commercial IPAs and brewing my own, I found out how to brew them exactly in a way that suits my tastes.

I find I like English IPA's far more than American IPA's (or even Pale Ales)... Even if the base style of my brew (like the blonde) isn't an English style, I still use English/UK ingredients (including the yeast strain)... All the brown ales are more to UK spec than American. Especially since they're more malt forward than hop forward. :rockin:

I'm all for throwing some English 2-row or English yeast in there, but nothing can supersede my love for Pacific Northwest American hops.

Bah... But then that's why you brew what you like/want and I'll brew what I like/want... Just because I know my beer is better than yours doesn't change anything. :D [j/k]
