I'm out of Amarillo and I have a bunch of other hop varieties to use up. I was planning on making my Amarillo APA (recipe dropdown) but replacing the Amarillo with Fuggles to see what that would be like. I know it's not to style and all that, but would it be tasty? I don't know if I want to be brave and just do a 10g batch or if I should stick with a 5g. What are your thoughts? Thanks ya'll.

I use it and DH with it, but it's no amarillo by any measure.

Stick your nose in the bag and inhale big and make the call.

Fuggles should work fine IMO. :rockin:
Wilamette has been popular in APAs and it's close to Fuggles...

Fuggles has a very earthy character. Some like it more than do others. I like it mixed with EKGs or American hops; I find it not nearly as aromatic as the typical American C hop.

Only one way to find out!
