I notice others have stairs in the middle of their brewing stages and wonder if anyone has tried siphoning wort down one floor. Our stove is upstairs (there won't be a $econd one) but the remainder of the process can be handled downstairs. The stove is not that far from the stairs so running a silicon tube from the boil to the bottom of the stairs is viable if the distance and drop don't cause problems. I could save some distance by moving it to a intermediate container and moving that to the top of the stairs. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

If it's all sanitized the only problem would be the speed the wort came out at the bottom. It would be a great way to put oxygen into the fermenter since it would come out like a garden hose.
