So I know I'm jumping the gun in all this but I was at the bar yesterday when a goodfriend got me thinking...I have more or less an unlimited supply of barley for next to nothing.... my friends dad is a grain farmer that grows 1000 acres..and he told me he has 2 full grain bins of barly ...30 feet wide 70 feet high. ......

That beening said, what's the best way to go about this? Id like to beable to malt maybe a few 100 lbs a time...thinking like a 55 gallon drum conversion for a Tumble dryer? Any ideas?

Hey thanks buddy..I saw that..very usefull..I think I will be poring a 15 by 4p pad in one of the areas in my barn for a new brewing setup but also for malting...to do the floor style..idk like to malt 200 lbs at a time....
