In preparation for brewing a DFH 60 min. clone, I realized that I picked up Amarillo hop pellets instead of Amarillo Gold which is what the recipe calls for. Looking at Beer Smith it has Amarillo listed as a bittering hop a 8% and Amarillo Gold listed as an aroma hop at 8.5%. I picked these up from Northern Brewer (http://www.northernbrewer.com/brewing/brewing-ingredients/hops/pellet-hops/amarillo-hops-1-oz.html)

Questions:
- can I exchange these and simply update Beer Smith's recipe to use this kind instead?
- Since I'll be dry hopping with these, does anyone know of any appreciable difference in flavor / aroma between the two?

Thanks!,
Mike
