Same here for me, and I'd never have to clean or sanitize anything.... Even though I love it (homebrewing of all types, extract PM and AG), Sierra Nevada, Smuttynose, and New Belgium 6'ers at 9.89 often look very appealing.
congrats on the child you should consider doing a baby ale before you give up either. Apparently they used to brew one right when they knew their wife was pregnant for the wife to drink after and to bathe the baby because the water quality was so poor in some parts of europe.

It would be much easier for my to give up brewing than drinking beer entirely. While I love brewing I honestly only do it every two months or so, but I drink beers at least a few times a week. That would be really hard to give up
