Does Rogue use Rager or Tinseth scale for IBU?

I am working on a recipe and the difference between Rager or Tinseth varies greatly.

For example, I am working on a Double Dead Guy clone, Rogue's website lists DDGA at 60 IBU and 78 AA.

Using Beersmith 1.4, 60 IBU in Tinseth changes to 83.6 in Rager. Conversly, 60 IBU in Rager is 42.4 in Tinseth. Obviously this is a huge shift in the hop addition and schedule.

??

Also, Beersmith does not calculate the Alpha Acid (AA) value of the IBU. Is there another application / website that will?

They may be listing IBU's based upon measured (lab) vs. what modeling is done in your software. I don't sweat those numbers anymore as I can be way off and still brew a similar beer. I think Tinseth is considered to be the most accurate.

samc, the changes to the recipe makes a difference. With Rager, the hop values are too low.
