Brewers Best Kits.

I just have one question, I decided to buy a summer ale brewers best kit and its comes with 3.3lbs of liquid extract and a lb of dry malt and a lb of bavarian wheat dry extract. So what i want to know is in the instrustions it says use the liquid and/or the dry so i would assume that means either i use the 2 lbs of dry extract or the can not both?

Yep. Both. They're not just tossing in extra extract for kicks.

They have the same directions for multiple kits. That is why they say and or.

Use both. I bought a robust porter from them and a red ale and both instructions say the same thing.

In case you're confused by the myriad answers here, you should use them both. You may want to hold the LME out as a late addition, in order to keep a lighter color in your beer.
