After the first brew day there was a beer/wort film left over from the boil on the inside of the pot, used a Magic Eraser on it and it came right off. Any one else use this nifty little cleaning scrubber? Sorry if this topic has been discussed before.

Magic eraser works great, but rinse well afterwards, (of course) it seems to leave particles behind.

Don't see why it would hurt...they are non-toxic, apparently, as long as you don't eat enough to block your GI tract. They are made of a super hard polymer, (similar to glass in hardness), that forms an open-celled foam structure. I prefer standard Green or Blue 3M scrubbies, personally, but to each their own.

I use "Bar Keepers Friend" to clean up my SS pot after brewing and it looks brand new after every use. Easily removes stains and shines it back up. http://www.barkeepersfriend.com
