Magic Eraser on SS kettle?

After the first brew day there was a beer/wort film left over from the boil on the inside of the pot, used a Magic Eraser on it and it came right off. Any one else use this nifty little cleaning scrubber? Sorry if this topic has been discussed before.
 
Don't see why it would hurt...they are non-toxic, apparently, as long as you don't eat enough to block your GI tract. They are made of a super hard polymer, (similar to glass in hardness), that forms an open-celled foam structure. I prefer standard Green or Blue 3M scrubbies, personally, but to each their own.
