This is my first year of brewing, so this will be my first winter. I'm actually looking forward to brewing in the winter, because I can get my fermentation temperatures lower.

My question is, should I do anything now to prepare for the winter. In particular, are hops more difficult to obtain during the winter months? Are they more expensive? Are there any grains I would want to consider getting now?

Thanks!

as far as winter... no? but! If you can plan out some beers in advance you can take advantage of bulk pricing! peterbaugh farms has SUPER cheap hops right now, so stocking up isnt a bad idea.
