I'm fermenting an IPA that calls for dry hopping 1oz of Chinook hops. After reading a bunch of posts here I decided to wait until fermentation had at least subsided to add the hops. I don't have a secondary fermenter so I was thinking about letting it ferment for a week or so and then just dropping in the pellets and letting the beer sit for another 5-7 days in the primary bucket before bottling. Will this be effective? I don't want the pellets to just drop into the sediment and get buried there.

Thanks in advance for any words of wisdom. This site has proved very useful over my 1st couple of brews. So far it's all been free but I'll be upgrading my membership today.
