I based this recipie off the ingredients for Lancaster's Brewery Strawberry Wheat. I have never used oats or rye and only have a few AG batches under my belt. Any advice on my rye/oat quanitites are appreciated. I hear rye can be really overpowering.

here is what I have:

Not sure how much they use, but you aren't going to taste 1% rye malt. .5 lbs lbs of oats is about right, should give your body a bit more heft without making the beer sweet.

Think I should just axe the rye then. I bought a few bottles the other night to refresh my taste buds, and there wasn'ta huge spice note. I am not a huge wheat beer drinker. I am mainly making for my wife and co-workers. So any wheat beer pointers appreciated.
