Anyone ever used WLP008 in an English bitter?

I'm putting together a session beer from stuff I've got around the house (I only need to buy grain) and decided on an English bitter for the winter. Here's my recipe so far:

8 lb Optic Malt (or Maris Otter)
4 oz Crystal 40L
4 oz Crystal 120L
mash @ 153-154°F

.25 oz Nugget 13% AA @60
.66 oz Progress 6.6% AA @ 60
.66 oz Progress 6.6% AA @ 15
.33 oz Progress 6.6% AA @ 5

Last time I made this beer I used S-04, pretty traditional. I'm wondering if I should try something crazy this time and use WLP008. I know WLP008 is a low flocculator (kind of the opposite of S-04) but it brings a fruity character to ales that I'm curious about tasting in an English bitter.

Anyone tried it? Am I off my rocker? Talk me down off the ledge if I'm about to do something I'll regret!

i was really happy with this one - yeast wasnt very fruity or english like at 66°
