I've seen a few threads where people have done a resistor mod but I'm not sure if that would help me out or not. If anyone else out there has had this same problem I'd appreciate it if you'd chime in here.

Anyhow, long story short, just bought the kegerator (used) and it worked fine chilling overnight. Then all of a sudden this morning it shot down to like 15 degrees with the display reading "LE." Since I don't have an original receipt DANBY won't cover the repair. Is there any easy fix that I can do to get this thing working properly?

Thanks in advance

you could buy an external temp controller http://www.austinhomebrew.com/product_info.php?products_id=12193

people sell them used here all the time. You can plug your kegerator into the controller and it will turn the kegerator on and off (plug and play) or you can wire the controller into your kegerator (requires cutting and splicing wires). Either way the controller regulates when the compressor turns on according to the controllers temperature sensor. There are some good write ups at micromatic.com

good luck. I have the same kegerator bought used and it would cool once and then go back to room temp. Temperature controller solved the issue.

Do some research. I think you can replace the circuit board and fix the problem. I don't think they're very expensive.
