Oetiker clamps+Oxy=rust

I gave my beer lines a long Oxy soak in a keg and now they got a white mineral deposit on them and rust. the QD,lines and keg have no deposit on them or in them. just the clamps. and now rust. so much for the professional clean look.

sorry to hear. i had my cheapish stainless kettle soaking in oxy for a week or so (kinda forgot about it) and the rivets for the handles started to disintegrate!

oxy isn't something to mess with. but, oetiker's are cheap.

yep, I let them sit in the oxy keg for about a week, was lazy and now I know...dont be lazy with brewing stuff.
