Does anyone have a good partial mash recipe for a Hefeweizen? I searched around a little and didn't come up with much. I would like to try Edwort's Bee Cave Brewery Bavarian Hefe but I don't see any conversion to Partial.

I have a good recipe I used for my 2nd ever batch. Its at home, so I can post it later tonight for you

I've made that recipe as a PM several times with great results. Here's how I converted it:

2.5 lbs wheat malt (I use the german red wheat)
1.75 lbs 2-row malt
5 lbs Wheat LME (or 4 lbs wheat DME)

To keep the color light, I wait until the last 10 minutes to add the extract (boil size is 3 gallons, top-off to 5.5 total). Hops as per original recipe.

Here's a PM version I made a few months ago. It's based on Ed Wort's Bavarian Hefe recipe. It turned out really well. Note that I fermented at 62F as Jamil suggests in "Brewing Classic Styles". I also agree with the late extract approach. Put half the extract in at the beginning of the boil, and half during the last 15 minutes.
