Hey guys,

I've been looking around on the forum to try and find a good Max. PPG value for maple syrup, but couldn't find anything definitive.

I guess I'm not sure how you determine this. Would you do it by pound of maple syrup, or by gallon? Does the grade (A,B,C..) of syrup influence the PPG value?

I'd like to predict how this will affect my OG. Thanks!

Grade makes little difference in PPG, as it is a measure of color and carmelization. B or C will give you more flavor.
