I'm going to be purchasing a pin lock keg, and putting ball lock posts on it. I've read you can convert a Cornelius brand pin lock keg with Cornelius brand ball lock posts. My question is this, since I'm swapping out different style posts etc. is that going to screw up my o ring sizes? Am I going to have difficulty finding o-ring replacements for a customized keg like this?

any success stories out there?

I honestly can't help you with the specifics but you can convert them pretty easily.

You can buy a conversion kit here: http://www.cornykeg.com/catalog.asp?prodid=682504&showprevnext=1

I would assume it would work with any type of pin lock keg but I'm not 100% certain. If you call them they can tell you.

Here is a video from them converting it:

I just bought 2 converted kegs from them and they work just the same as regular ball locks (excepts the pin lock lids don't have pressure release valves, which isn't really important).
