I'm planning on bottling my Furious clone this week. I dry hopped about a week ago and some of those hops are still floating. Has anybody used a nylon paint strainer bad and tied it to the intake of their auto siphon cane? Will this filter out the yeast I need for bottle conditioning as well?

I use a mesh hop bag at the end of my siphon tube. It works well. The yeast will filter through. They are microscopic.

Cold crash for a few days and rack carefully...that drops out 95% of the junk floating around in my beer.

I use a paint strainer bag inside my bottling bucket instead of around the end of the siphon tube. It works better and doesn't clog, you just need to be sure you're not splashing to avoid oxygenating the beer.
