Adding Length to Draft Tower Line

I don't want to get into my tower and disconnect the line on it, but I'd like to add some length to it. I have extra line from my picnic tap. It would be easier (I think) to connect the two using one of the following:

or this:

http://www.midwestsupplies.com/line-splicer.html

Any opinions on this?

Splicing can lead to foaminess.
I tried this a few years ago and it was much foamier. I think I read something about turblance creates foam.
You're going to have to get into your tower and swap out your line.

I have 10 feet, and perfect pours each time.

That's a pretty large restriction. It would be fine for a gas line but probably not very good for beer line. Agreen with Spartan about just adding a new line. That'll run you $6 or 7 and 20 minutes of your time.
