Do these need to be sanitized? The line from the CO2 tank to the keg carrying the gas, and the line from the keg to the tap carryng the beer?

They should at least be cleaned very well. As long as you pour a few beers through them after cleaning, they should be fine. The beer lines, that is. The gas lines should remain bone dry.
