Hey guys call me crazy but a belgium quad and lindemans framboise are my two favorite things to drink. I was thinking of making an extract belgium (5 gallons), let it ferment out for a couple weeks then add two bottles of lindemans framboise. I was thinking at bottling to add just one oz. of sugar thinking that the framboise will help with carbonization. Thoughts? Am I crazy? no partial or mashes I do strickly extract. Thanks all!

Have you ever had a Ommegang Three Philosophers? It's a quad blendied with kriek and should be pretty easy to find in NY. I think you'll have a hard time making an extract quad, though.

Two bottles of the lambic would be way, way too much in my opinion. I'd go with a pint or so in 5 gallons of tripel, not quad. Quads can be a bit sweet on their own before adding syrupy raspberry.
