Ok first you'll have to answer some questions: :D

1) Temperature of the beer (Used to determine CO2 already in the beer)
2) Style of beer (So we can hit the target levels)
 
Yeah 4 grams is roughly proper per bottle. I come up with .025 cup for 2.5 volumes of CO2 for your lager. This should roughly be 1 1/4 teaspoons (actually 1.2 tsp) per bottle.
