how much carbonation do i need to add to 500 ml bottles. I think its 4g i dont have a scale

Ok first you'll have to answer some questions: 
1) Temperature of the beer (Used to determine CO2 already in the beer)
2) Style of beer (So we can hit the target levels)

style is austrailian lagar 65 degrees now

Yeah 4 grams is roughly proper per bottle. I come up with .025 cup for 2.5 volumes of CO2 for your lager. This should roughly be 1 1/4 teaspoons (actually 1.2 tsp) per bottle.
