So I'm planning on doing a couple of melomel here in the near furture, one of which being a strawberry. My buddy did on and it was wonderful. but the only fault in it was the presence of some of the piece of pulp and some little "hair." The mead was racked twice after it sat on the strawberries during secondary, but the fruit pieces still floated about. I was wondering if the addition ofa clarifying agent (irish moss, sparkeliod, ect)to my must would help

just strain it through a super sanitized mesh boiling bag, it should get nearly all of it out., and if you want it all out , buy a buon vino wine filter.

look dude, none of that is going to be half as bad as the shmooze we've been drinking, small chunks of fruit add character!
