I was supposed to add 2 1/2 Pounds of Cane sugar to my Boil for my Imperial IPA. I forgot. I ust pitched, and I am wondering if there is a way for me to add it to the Primary. Anyone with some help out their?

have you used that much cane sugar before?
I always thought that you shouldn't use cane sugar. everything I've read says not to.
when did you brew? If it hasn't gone too far into the fermentation cycle I think you can just boil it up and add it to the fermenter

How much space is there in the primary? If there's enough room, I'd boil the sugar for a time in a half gallon (or whatever) of water, cool, and dump it in the primary. I think it'd be hard to get 2+ pounds of sugar mixed very well if dumped in dry.

EDIT: Oops. I just repeated what Stale said. My bad.
