SO i brewed this

.5lbs: Carapils
8lbs: Pale 2 row

Mash 60 mins
Sparge 10 mins

Boil 60 mins

Cascade 1oz 50 minutes (bittering)
Sazz 1/2oz 15 minutes (aroma)

OG Projected: 1.042 -1.046
Projected FG: 1.010- 1.008

Actual OG 1.040, a little low byt still with in the margin of error

Projected ABV: 4.5%-6%

IBU projected 15.3IBU

Im not a hop head so i went for the low IBU which is about 5 units lower then a regular lager.

And another issue, i have 2lbs of 2 row left and i bought 3lbs of DME to boost the OG up if it was to low because of improper mashing or bad technique (this had happend before it also works as a mental thing which keep me doing things right so i dont neet it) I will also have about 1/2oz of Sazz left... I was wondering if i could make an Pale Ale with just a little more ingreedants so that i can do a partical mash and have an ale fermenting while the lager ferments... to keep the pipe line going you know.

so heres what i have left

3lbs DME
2lbs Pale 2 row
1/2oz of Sazz

sugestions?

Cheers
