All, Was looking around at Swagelok fittings and I found some say bored through, some are normal. Should I get the BT ones? I am looking to use 1/2 rigid copper for my pickup tube. So I want 1/2" npt by 5/8 tube. Also for my hex, 1/2 copper or stainless so I was looking at the 1/2 npt x 1/2 tube. Was leaning towards the BT models. Anyone know the difference in ID?

BT = Bore thru or Bored-Through. I assume this is something like Full Port. Trying to reduce all areas that may be restrictive. I ordered a SS-1010-1-8BT from ebay, I will post the interior dimensions when I get it. The guy only had one, wish he had more.

I got the fitting, it looks like bored through is missing the shoulder that would stop the pipe. As long as the shoulder is the same size of the pipe wall, I see no benefit from the BT Model.
