Lightobject PID

Anyone had any experience with the JLD612 PID controller from Lightobject? I have noticed that quite a few people who follow my smoker controller build opt for this model. It seems to tick all the boxes. Worth a recommendation?

I built a sous vide controller using one of these, and it works fine. It doesn't have a manual mode, though. If you're wanting to run a boil kettle, better to get one with manual mode. Otherwise it should be fine.

It's attached. I recall it being adequate when I used it. Setup involved setting the probe type and running an auto-tune, so I didn't get too deep in the weeds.

Thanks! It sounds like a good alternative to the Agptek TA4.

i have about 4 of em in various things. they work as well as any cheap PID
