This is my second batch I will be brewing with LME. This time I'm gonna keg it and save myself the pain of bottling.

I'm particularly unsure about how much grain to steep and for how long
I'm also unsure about my hop schedule -- does it make sense?

Thanks for your feedback. Here are the details of my recipe I designed using beersmith...

------
Trying to recreate my favorite IPA: Laurelwood Workhorse IPA. I'm guessing on the hop schedule and the malts. The only thing I do know is what are used hops and the approximate color.

The Workhorse IPS sounds ALOT like a typical west coast IPA.

Thanks for the feedback. Maybe I should spread out the hop schedule to include more frequent but smaller additions.

Continuous hopping adds taste throughout the beer. A dry hopping addition may be key as well.

Agreed! I forgot to paste in my planned dry hopping..

1.00 oz Amarillo Gold [8.50 %] (Dry Hop 10 days) Hops -
1.00 oz Simcoe [13.00 %] (Dry Hop 10 days) Hops -

Any thoughts?

Looks good than. I would stretch out the hop additions a bit (Im a bit of a hophead so adding 4-5 more oz sounds good to me too) and I like the Amarillo/Simcoe combo for dry hopping.
