what propane adapter do I need for this hose?

I have this hose.. one, end goes into my burner, but the other end looks like this:

What kind of adapter do I need so that I can screw into a propane tank? It's not clear.. I think this is a 3/8" end..

Maybe a "regulator" could come in handy here?

It looks like a flare fitting, if the threads are straight and not tapered like pipe threads then it is some kind of flare fitting.
