Will using a fermanter that was previously used to make beer lead to off flavors? Just getting into wine and that is what i was told, so i bought a new 7.9 just for doing wine. If they do, then the ? needs to be asked did the mr. beer kit get used to brew beer?

I just used my mr. beer for a 3 gal hard lemonade, turned out great and made things much easier than using 3x 1 gal glass jugs.
Mr. Beer has a vented lid, so you will be doing an open fermentation. If you can live with that then use it. Lots of wines and beers are purposely done as open fermentation so go for it.

Grrrrr wait till i get my hands on my lhbs owner for that missinformation. Lol oh well now i have 2x large fermenters.
