Tasting Notes
A fun little summer brew...most people have a hard time placing the cumin but like it
Double Infusion Mash with 30 minute rests at 122 and 154.

Recipe

5# Flaked wheat 50%
4# 2 row belgian pilsner 40%
8oz Biscuit Malt 5%
8oz Flaked Oats 5%

Hops and Spices

.7 oz Glacier First Wort
.35oz Saaz 15 minutes left
.25t Coriander Seed 3 minutes
.5t Toasted Cumin Seed 15 minutes
.25oz Bitter Orange Peel 3 minutes
1t Coriander Seed 15 minutes
1t Grains Of Paradise 15 minutes

If I was going to make this again I would up the Cumin a bit and cut back on either the grains of paradise or the bitter orange peel. It had a bit too much of the drying sensation that the grains of paradise give I think. Maybe I just don't like that spice. *shrug*
