This is my first cold crash. In my new fernentation chamber and I was wondering about the orientation of the fan. The air lock is right under the fan that blows the cold around in the fridge. I'm sure the inside of that fan enclosure is not very clean and it creates a pretty gusty wind. Do you think there's any possibility it could blow some nasties through the airlock being that the fermenter will also create negative pressure as it cools?

I would say you're fine, but there's no way to know for sure. If your batches start getting infected, then it might be your culprit, but I wouldn't worry about it.
