Has anybody used the fruit flavorings from morebeer.com? I was thinking of trying the blueberry in a spring heffe brew. Are these artificial or natural flavorings? Don't want to ruin the brew. If these are no good, what is another viable (pre sanatized) option?

I'm ging to do something like this:

60 min boil
6 lbs Bavarian Wheat DME
1 oz Hallertauer boiled for the duration
1.5 oz Tettnanger for the last 10 min or so
WLP300 yeast w/starter
Add Blueberry Puree/flavor when racking to secondary??/bottling??

:mug:

They're natural flavors. I would suggest adding in the last 15 minutes of the boil. Pie filling works well too. I suggest putting it in a mesh bag and remove before racking to secondary.:tank:

when using fruit flavored extracts, I typically add them at bottling time a little at a time until I have the taste I want.

I used that puree stuff from Oregon. I had used the cherry purree for the Cherry Wheat I'm drinking now. At first I could not taste it much but I let it age a bit and the flavor came out real well.
