Crystal Hops - American Rye

Hey,

I'm making my first Am. Rye beer and I have some crystal hops kicking around.

What are your thoughts on using them in this? If so, bittering or aroma? Both?

Recipe is pretty much

6.5 pale
3.75 rye
3 wheat

1.053 OG
Mash @ 152

I think crystal would be fine as a single hop beer and should blend nicely with that bill.

The crystal hops have a bit of a spicy flavor to them, I think it would be a nice match.

BTW don't forget about 2# of rice hulls with that much rye.

Totally. I forgot to write down the rice hulls, but they are in there for sure.
