Greetings all!

This question may have already been answered, but I not sure. Im going to be (first time) kegging my pale ale in a few days. However, I have a stout that will be ready late next week. I just ordered a regulator, but it only has one outlet.

Questions are:
1. Do different beers require different force carbing pressures? I seem to remember seeing that somewhere, but I cant find it.....

2. (If So...) Is it possible to pressure up a keg to force carbing, disconnect it, and force carb a second keg at a different PSI? Im not sure if I can simply add a gas manifold (of some sort) at some point to control different pressures, or should I just get a regulator with two controllable outlets instead of one?

Thanks!

Frank

Different beers can benefit from different carbonation volumes, but it's not necessary. If I have multiple beers, I usually keep them about about 2.5 volumes since I have one regulator. However, you can take the keg off of CO2 and carb another keg at a different pressure, it won't hurt the beer. I have a splitter on my regulator so I can allow gas to one keg while blocking it from another (it actually controls 2 kegs and 2 kegs, but the same idea).
